The year is coming to an end and the weather is getting deathly chilly at 50 degrees Celcius in Orange County. Where else to take Ellis but to ANOTHER museum. We all saw how much Ellis LOVED LACMA. Will she love the Bowers as much if not more? Look at her getting super excited to go to Bowers in the morning of!
Yes, museums are filled with funny things.
Ellis has experienced a lot during 2015. Her vocabulary has grown from 20 words to none stop gabbing. She’s now a fast talker, quick to respond, retort, and has mastered intonations at the end of each sentences to emphasize her requests. She could barely stand 10 months ago and is now running, jumping climbing and walking up and down stairs independently (with adult supervision). And, her appetite for both sugar and tv has become voracious (unfortunately). But, she adjusts very well to outdoor activity and a balanced diet when given the opportunity. When given a choice, she prefers the outdoors over otaku activities. Most importantly, she is learning how to listen, memorize, evaluate and decide her own actions. There is a Cartesian “I” in her, a strong superego that not only knows but feels what’s right and necessary. Dad is very relieved that she has her own compass to rely on for now.
